Joe McDermott Concert at F.U.M.P Music Festival
**On a side note, I must tell you that Kaelan shocked us at this concert. We all know Kaelan is a longtime "groupie" of Joe McDermott's. Strangely, Kaelan joined the other children in the kiddy mosh pit and stood absolutely still and emotionless as the other kids went crazy around her. For the first time, she did not sing or dance or wave her cigerette lighter in the air.......she just stood and stared blankly at Joe. At one point, Joe pointed at her and then shrugged his shoulders and laughed in a curious chuckle......what was her deal? I wondered if maybe she wasn't feeling well....but after checking her over and coming up empty, I came to realize that Kaelan had just reached a rut in her road of fanhood. I know where she is in the process.....for much of the teenage years, I breathed, ate and lived "The Cure".....and then came that fateful day. The posters came down, the deathly dark eye make-up washed away, and the love simply faded.....Let us hope Kaelan is just a crossroad.....on the way home, all Kaelan wanted to hear was J.D. - Time will tell.
