Year in Review

Wow!   Another year gone.   When I look back over the pictures of 2010 and the flood of memories it brings,  it doesn't even seem possible that all that fit into one year.   We are truly blessed!
We are looking forward to all 2011 brings....especially one super sweet boy coming soon!
Happy New Year!

Go, Knights!

Now that the whole blog hacking mess is behind us, I can catch you up on some old news.....because that was the reason I was so far behind.   Really.   I was just waiting for that to be cleared up and then I could press on in my usual reliable blogging manner.   Whatever.

Season 2 for The Knights ended last month, and though it was a tough season, Kaelan actually found a deep love for soccer.  It happened at the very END of the season, but nonetheless, she decided she actually liked it.   That may or may not have come after we told her dancing and spinning on the field were no longer acceptable.   She was playing with the big boys and girls now, and she needed to take things a little more seriously or not play.   Yes, we became competitive parents this season.   The paradigm has shifted.

I just loved the way the kiddos would "hug huddle" before each play.   We had to stop the hand holding on the line this season, which was actually quite sad, but it is all part of going competitive.  Sigh.

Thumbs up to each other.  So cute....we just can't drop this, or I won't be able to hack this competitive stuff.

We are so lucky to have Aunt Sara living here in Austin with us.   She is so awesome and supports Kaelan in so many things.  I think she is actually starting to be a "yeller" like me.   Man, we are even ruining sweet Sara.
Soccer games are all about the snacks.   I have quickly learned, when it is your week to bring snack, you better come through in a good way.  Kids will remember this kind of thing for the rest of their lives.

We ended the season with   I won't even tell you the season record.   Yep, it was that sad.
We did win a few games, though, and Kaelan did score some goals.   She also picked a lot of flowers and kicked a ton of ant hills, but we will overlook that for "edge" purposes.

We Are (not) the World

Dearest Blog Followers-
While we are aware that we have a  large friend and family base of readers for our blog stretching to all ends of the globe, I am certain that we do not have any friends or family currently located in Jakarta or Pula Poala (which I did not even know existed) or Madrid.    This leads to concern over the recent spike in hits our site has received from places all over the globe.   While we love our family and indeed enjoy bragging and sharing pictures and stories about our life, we would rather not have our photos and information fall into the hands of someone hacking into our site.   We would hate to be in Singapore someday and see our faces driving by on  the side of a bus.  Case in point.
So, if you would like to continue hanging with us, we would ask that you send us a quick email and we will get you a password.   Most of you who keep up with us have our email, but if you don't....just leave a comment and we will get it to you......unless we don't know you and you come across as crazy.  In which case you are probably just on here to steal our photos, so go away!
This blog will go under lock down in T minus 5, 4, 3, 2......more days.
Love,
The Mighty Fine McBrayer Family
